World Mental Health Day… I’ve had my head down for a month or so but it’s World Mental Health Day and I have some news… BBC Wales Live, Tonight @ 10:35 I’ll be appearing on the BBC Wales Live program tonight, talking about my comedy […]
Exeter! I told you I’d be back.
Like the best of my bad decisions, this one started a couple of weeks back in Neath…
Tomorrow night I have the honor or joining Comedy Powerhouse Ignacio Lopez on a road trip to the City Gate Comedy Club. Now, I haven’t seen “Ig”, as he’s affectionately know around these parts, since his early days taking part in the Welsh Unsigned Stand-up Award. Since then, well, check out his website and see for yourself…
So…I’m looking forward to this one. Should be a laugh.
Doors at 7.00pm, 8 bucks a pop.
See you there,
I’m off to The Factory, Porth, tomorrow afternoon for a Depression Busting course. I almost had a breakdown trying to park in Porth last week so this time I’m going via Viva Arriva. Course numbers were low last week so they’re starting from scratch tomorrow. […]
We thought we’d lost this but I couldn’t sleep last night so I did some spring-cleaning of my external hard drive and found it in some weird folder I would never have looked in otherwise. This show was supposed to be the culmination of everything I’d done up to that point (within reason) and a kick-start to my ailing comedy career. The best laid plans, eh?
Still, it’s the full version of what I did at the Cardiff Comedy Festival so if you’d like to see almost an hour of Wes in a rock club in Neath, be my guest.
Comedy is my job now, my life and my livelihood. If you could see your way clear to giving me a like or a share, I’d ‘ppreciate it.
p.s. Extra special thanks to Hugh Griffiths and Sam Bees for the camera work and prompting. Thanks lads xx
Some trips down memory lane to when I met Stanhope and Rouse at Edinburgh, where Doug nearly got beaten up but Scott Capuro saved the day, I cried at Wil Hodgson’s show, and I won a thing that I’m still bangin’ on about.
